Over the years, the association has taken its duty of care to the river very seriously indeed. We are grateful to association volunteers who give up their free time (often time that could be spent fishing) to help us protect the river and ensure a bright future for the riparian habitat, insect life, fish and anglers on the river.
In conjunction with groups like the Clyde River Foundation, Salmon and Trout Association and the Riverfly Initiative our volunteers have taken part in many projects from annual river clean ups to invertibrate sampling and electrofishing studies. The aim of this page is to inform our members of some of the work being done and if any members reading this would like to volunteer their services in the future all help would be greatly appreciated
